In order to travel to Italy and Europe, a visitor needs a Schengen Visa. The Schengen Area comprises of 26 countries that have agreed to allow free movement of their citizens within this area as a single country. With a Schengen visa you can travel and stay in Italy as well as 25 other countries that are part of the Schengen Agreement.
There are two different visas offered by the Italy Embassy/Consulate in the country for Indian National. The short-term visa is designed for tourists or individuals who wish to visit the country on business. The long-term visa is designed for individuals looking to stay in Italy for an extended period.
Individuals will have to provide details like their name, nationality, date of birth, purpose of visit, duration of stay, occupation, employment details, etc. in order for the Embassy/Consulate to process an application. The form should be submitted by them directly, when they come for their appointment.
